Pop star Sabrina Carpenter is back with big news: her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, arrives on August 29, 2025
Sabrina Carpenter shared the announcement via an Instagram carousel, featuring a provocative image of herself on all fours next to a man in a suit playing on the album’s title with a nod to canine imagery. The cover art also shows a powder-blue collar reading “Man’s Best Friend”, teasing a tongue-in-cheek take on loyalty and power dynamics.
The lead single “Manchild”, co-written and produced with Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, dropped in early June and hit No. 1 on Spotify’s US and global charts. With its disco-pop energy and playful lyrics about immature lovers, it’s already setting the tone for a sassier era.
Man’s Best Friend arrives nearly exactly one year after her Grammy-winning Short n’ Sweet (released August 23, 2024), suggesting a continuation of her bold, personal songwriting style .
Pre-orders are live now, including vinyl, picture disc, CD, and cassette formats. Are you excited about Carpenter’s new album? Because we are! Let’s talk in the comments!
